After a long day at GNRS, peddling our wares & walking the show, Luke & I headed to Bahooka, in Rosemead, for our first taste of SoCal Tiki culture. Bahooka has been open since 1967 & the decor is amazing. There is a staggering array of flotsam & jetsom hanging from every inch of the ceiling, more aquariums than I could count & even a jail cell! I ordered a Tahitian Sandwich & Blue Hawaii in Bahooka's signature Tiki mug. The food & drink were both good & I happily took the mug home to add to my collection.
