Go Kat Go Radio Show

Last Saturday, at Terryville, I picked up a cool t-shirt from Michelle, host of the Go Kat Go Rockabilly show on WNHU 88.7 FM. The show airs on Tuesday nights from 8:00 -10:00. If you're a Rockabilly fan, you need to check this show out. Michelle divides the show into 3 segments; New Traditional Style, Vintage & Psychobilly. She also takes requests & keeps us updated on upcoming shows & new releases.

Cool Kustom Videos

My buddy Pete's dad gave me a bag of videos from the early 90's from various Kustom Car Events he attended. Definitely some killer footage & a great shot of Pete with a mullet instead of the pompadour I'm used to seeing. hahaha

Tiki Stuff From Rumble In The Country

I did score a coupla Tiki mugs & a pair of Tiki S&Ps, but left some cool stuff behind because the weather tempered my sales for the day.

Rumble In The Country Results

Well, the day started out great. My son & I stopped by my buddy Pete's house, picked him up & headed to Terryville. Picked a good spot to vend & got my stuff set-up. The weather was supposed to hold out til about 5:00. The cars started rolling in about 8:30 & the folks began spending shortly thereafter. About 10:30 it started to sprinkle & everytime I thought it had stopped, it would start up again. Finally, about 12:00, I decided to pack up, have some lunch & watch the bands under the pavillion. Not long after, the skies opened up & I was glad I had packed. The only pics I managed were a coupla shots of the second band, The Garnet Hearts from Baltimore,MD. These guys were great & I recommend them if you have a chance to see them. I picked up both of their CDs.

Rumble In The Country

I'll be vending at this show tomorrow. Always a good time. I can't wait to see everyone I haven't seen since last year. I'll try to take some pics.
