Stumbled out of bed at the crack o dawn & headed west to the Hadley Flea Market. Alll in all, a pretty good day. I scored abunch of stuff for small money:
Treasure Craft Florida Tiki bank: $1.00
Tiki Farm coconut mug from Hukelau: $1.00
2 Rebel Lures, (my secret weapon), & a pack of swivels: $4.00
Tupperware Picnic S&Ps: $3.00
An amazing, WWII War Rations wallet with Ration Coins, Gas Coupons & War Ration Books:
$3.00
Therma-a-Jug picnic jug: $2.00

Summer Brimfield Day 1






Wednesday, July 13:
Summer Brimfield is here! Headed out solo today. the weather was perfect & there was good stuff to be had. Here's what I scored:
2 Lava wahines, one HIP Original & one Coco Joe's: Asking $30 Paid $25
A nice Pearl Harbor hanky: $8
A Proctor-Silex Electric Juicer NIB: Asking $26 Paid $22
2 Page Mobilgas ad, featuring a Corsair taxiing in front of some palm tress, "Give 'er the Gun_and WHOOSH!" "that's FLYING HORSEPOWER": $5
Also had a great Pilgrim sandwich for lunch from one of the food vendors. I'll do that again!

I have a love/hate relationship with flea markets. I love going to them, but I really hate the time I've got to get up to get there! Today, I dragged my sorry behind outta bed & hit the road for the Rietta Ranch Flea Market. It was definitely worth the trip. Here's what I scored:

Spring Brimfield Day 2

Rise & shine again! Headed for Brimfield again. Not quite as fruitful as day one, but I did score an unopened bag of Red Man plastic picnic-ware for $10 & a great Skull Mug from the Royal Hawaiian for $10.
